Ok, so my HDD is fine but trapped in a more or less dead laptop. I was able to access it through Ubuntu Live CD and transfer most everything onto an external drive. I am now setting up Dopus on a new computer and I am wondering if I can transfer over my old settings without having a ready made 'configuration backup' file. Can I achieve the same results through some amount of copy-pasting in the old files?

There's a [FAQ](https://resource.dopus.com/t/how-to-backup-or-locate-your-opus-configuration-advanced/8007/1) on this. Like we always say, have a look around and try searching before posting often repeated questions please.
