Help with renaming script please

i need a simple renaming script. normally i use a 3rd party program for renaming, but it can't handle this task. i think it would be easy in Opus.

i want to append the Parent Folder Name to the beginning of all selected Folders, separated by a dash with spaces around it [ - ]

such that c:/parent/child/ becomes c:/parent/parent - child/.

does someone have the time and inclination to help me out?

This can be done with the advanced rename dialog. Just make sure the enable File Information fields is selected, then you have access to such things as {parent1}.

ah, an asterisk. i found the {parent1} field but i wasn't sure what variable stood for the original file name.
