I have DO 9.1.1.5.3222 installed on my desktop and laptop.
When I right click a .jpg on the desktop I have the options to edit and/or preview the picture BUT on the laptop these options are not available.
All suggestions are welcomed.

P.S. I did save the setup on the desktop and import the setup on the laptop but no change....it could be a setting in windows but not sure.
This is a very old version. Why don´t you try the current version? Otherwise you can look in -> preferences -> file types -> "all files and folders" -> edit -> context menu.
The problem you're facing may be due to a missing registry key or value for the .jpg / .jpeg file class, or incorrect file association settings for .jpg / .jpeg in your system.
It is also possible that a third-party program has taken over the .jpg / .jpeg file associations during installation.
You could try the File association fixes for Windows XP (link) or Windows Vista (link):

I upgraded to DO 9.5 and the problem still existed.
I then took Christiaan's advise and located a File Association fix for XP.
I installed it and DO is working perfectly again (with preview and edit functions).
