Hide auto descriptions?

Hi All,

I use file descriptions to leave myself helpful reminders regarding file contents. I'm wondering if there's any way to hide or suppress the display of auto-generated description values? I.e., my MP3 files show information such as "MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 version 1.0, 192 kbps...etc".

In other words, is it possible to only display descriptions I have explicitly set myself?

No way to do this right now. I've filed a feature request asking for a new column which only shows the descript.ion data as it should be easy to add.

Thanks nudel - here's hoping it makes it into a pending update, as it would help me be able to identify significant files at a glance.
