Hi,
Is there a way to make the file type extensions "disappear" on the lister.
When I use Windows Explorer, I have a clean list of the file name without the file type (pdf, or docx, etc).
I have read through the help manual and cannot find the directions to make this part of the file hidden.

Yep, in Folder Formats / Folder Options, on the Display tab there's an option: "Hide file extensions in Filename column."

I think the "beast" today is the description column as I wrote on other thread. . .
