HiDPI/Quick Settings Swap

Hi!

I've recently bought a retina macbook and am running windows and Dopus on it. Dopus copes really well actually and never looked better - aside from the navigation buttons at the top of each lister looking tiny, things are good. The only issue I am struggling with is the size of fonts. On the native (2880x1800) screen fonts appear small as you would expect, and I adjust them upwards in each of the (8-10) font setting areas. When plugged into my external monitor at work, the text is then very large and I adjust them back one by one again!

I certainly wouldn't expect baked-in support for my use-case given that Windows is yet to crack the High DPI nut itself, but is there a quick way to:

a) Quick change between settings files? (link a couple of buttons to two settings files and apply it immediately)
b) Globally change the fonts rather than going through every subsection each time?

Thanks for your time

Font settings are stored in the main prefs.oxc file under /dopusdata\ConfigFiles. You could have something which exits Opus, swaps that file around, then restarts Opus. It will obviously change a lot more than just the fonts if the two versions of the config file are not kept is sync, however.

(The config files are XML so diffing/syncing them is actually pretty easy.)

The config backup & restore menu item and/or commands can also be used to automate the process somewhat, but they would replace even more of the configuration each time.

Sounds good - I will give it a try!

many thanks
