Highlighting Text In Search Menu

I have an extensive mp3 library to search through. When I am searching through a music groups' albums I type Elenor Rigby, I would like the text in the results menu to be highlighted.

Simple filename substring searches (via Find-as-you-Type, typed directly into the file display) will highlight the matching parts of filenames automatically.

That isn't done for things matched via the Windows Search field at the top-right of the lister, nor for Tools > Find Files, currently. (Those are a lot more complex.)

Is this highlighting feature apply to Find Files now? It would be helpful for newbie in search syntax

Highlighting feature is part of FAYT (Find As You Type), not of the Find Files results window, as Find File search can relate to many other things than just the file name (can be metadata, folder content, file attributes, ... and a mix of many things). So this would lead to inconsistent highlighting.
In a file display (which can be the Find result), just start typing the part of the filename you're interested in, this will bring the FAYT bar below the file display and files matching what you typed will be highlighted (more specifically, the part of the filename matching will be).

I would also like this functionality. Dopus should be able to do everything that windows explorer could do (or be user enabled to do), plus all the enhancements. Highlight the search specific text in the filenames saves me time when trying to find something.
