Can the hint popup delay time be adjusted somewhere? I would like them to popup sooner (probably pretty fast). For example: When hovering over a toolbar button with the mouse pointer.
Tooltip delay in Windows is based on your system's mouse double-click speed. If you set the mouse double-click speed faster, tooltips in most programs will appear sooner.
(Most short delays involving the mouse in Windows and many Windows apps are derived from this setting. It's more "mouse reaction time" than just "mouse double-click time".)
