Holding down mouse and dragging in context menus different behaviour in version 13

In context menus i have the habit to hold down left mouse button while selecting the entry i want.

In dopus 13 as soon as i hold down the left mouse button the selected entry gets "locked in" and can not be changed by hovering over other entries. In dopus 12 i could still select other entries while holding down the left mouse button. The right mouse button behavior is still working the old way that i prefer.

Is there any reason this got changed in version 13?

It probably happened with the changes to allow drag & drop of favorites within menus and toolbars.

Might be something we can tweak, although it may be a while before we get to it, since the usual to ways to use menus still work OK as a workaround. (I.e. Click menu to open it, don't release, drag over the desired item, and release. Or click menu to open it, release, then click the item you want.)

I was just going to report this as per the following...

Menu selection differers to standard Windows behaviour

Repeat the following steps using A) File Explorer and B) DOpus...

  1. Right-click a file for the pop-up context menu to appear
  2. Click and hold a menu item and drag the mouse within the menu

Differences...
File Explorer: Menu item selection moves with the mouse
DOpus: Menu items selection does not move with the mouse

Expected behaviour: As per standard Windows behaviour, i.e., as demonstrated by File Explorer
