I would also love to see horizontal scrolling of this nature added to Directory Opus. While I wouldn't call the behavior ubiquitous, many apps now use shift+scroll for horizontal window scrolling (especially design apps like Photoshop, Figma, etc.) and it's standard enough that I sorely miss it when working in dopus.
(Also thanks in general for dopus - it's really so incredible!)
