Files were missing from the Icons folder in /dopusdata so my backups were missing those same files. I manually replaced them. Going forward, my question is how can I confirm that /dopusdata is updating properly?
How does a properly updated /dopusdata differ from an improperly updated one?
Does your /dopusdata/Icons/ contain subfolders? The backup tool ignores subfolders in /dopusdata/Icons/.
I was wrong, suddenly the subfolder is also backed up. After I had installed windows, but for other reasons.
The Icons folder in /dopusdata had no .dis files in it. I assume the backup routine looked there for the contents of the Icons folder when a backup is run. Accordingly, my backups were missing those same files. After the restore, many icons were smiley faces .
I'm away from my computer right now for a screen check thou Ive done this mess up before.
There a check box for backing up "images". If uncheck it doesn't copy the .dis
I had to get them again from a previous \different back up where I did a full backup via changing the extension to zip so I could get in a just the the content of the icons folder.
