How can I control where and how DOpus opens?

I start DOpus at machine startup, but I don't show a lister.
On my old computer, Win XP and DOpus 9, when I'd open a lister, it would open in the size and location it had when I closed it, and would show the directory it was showing when I closed it, unless I commanded a new directory.
Now, with DOpus 10 and my new x64 computer, I can't figure out how to replicate that behavior. And I want to have it behave that way so badly that if I can't get it, I'll uninstall DOpus and go with Windows - DOpus is no better!

All the settings which control that are under Preferences - Launching Opus.

You probably want to turn on:

Preferences / Launching Opus / Default Lister / Update Default Lister automatically when closing a Lister

Preferences / Launching Opus / Default Lister / Always in the same position

Preferences / Launching Opus / From the Desktop / Open the Default Lister

Preferences / Launching Opus / From the Taskbar icon / Open the Default Lister

Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup / Open the Listers that were open when the program was last closed

(Exactly which ones matter depends on which way(s) you open windows.)

Place the list, Opus, where you want it to open:
Setting-ListerLayout-Save this Lister...

Thanks. Leo. I'm up and running now. The term "Update Default Lister automatically when closing a Lister" was, for some reason, totally meaningless to me. Maybe I'm too old for this stuff.
(BTW, I was a bit frustrated when I posted. DOpus is considerably better than Windows when you're trying to do complex stuff.)

John

To old for this stuff? Welling to bit I've got you beat. But that's not a beat I want to win.
