Until recently, I was able to see PDFXChange's editing controls while viewing a pdf document in the Dopus Viewer pane. I no longer see the controls. PDFXchange provides an ActiveX viewer plugin which I am using. Any suggestions for how I can re-enable these controls when viewing the PDF inside Dopus?
Ask the people who make PDF-XChange. All we do on the Opus side is tell them which file to display and in which window. What their UI includes within its viewer is entirely down to their code.
The people who make PDF-XChange imply that changes to Windows modern browsers permanently disable this feature. Their support staff states:
I see, unfortunately, with the discontinuation of IE, and modern browsers disallowing NPAPI Plugins, the old IE plugin is no longer available, without that plugin data present, it will not be possible for third party apps like Directory Opus to take advantage of their existence and present the editing tools you used to see there.
