Is it possible for a Search Field to be limited to a particular toolbar instead of Favorites?
Alternatively, how can I type a few characters and highlight any matching menu items?
The Search field search below the current folder. It does not search toolbar content. (You were presumably in the Favorites folder when you made the screenshot.)
Yes, I was in Favorites.
Perhaps a toolbar search feature could be added to the wish list?
In the mean time, I set up a couple of the top-level menu button(s), that show the folder that holds the shortcuts / exe files, when I click the button. I can then use the search bar to search inside that folder.
