Some camera images taken in landscape are displayed by the DOpus Viewer as Portrait (thumbs are also portrait). How is this determination made? EXIF data? Is there an easy way of resetting without editing the image?

OK, I found ExifTool. It does what I need.

You can tell Opus to ignore the EXIF rotation tags if you don't want them to be used. Type EXIF into the Preferences filter and it'll show you the three relevant options.
I really like the way DOpus interprets rotation tags. The problem is that my camera evidently misinterprets orientation on occasion. Anyway, I have now found and installed the excellent PhotoME so fixing the problem is trivial.
