First thanks for the continuous upgrades/betas all the time.
But because I upgrade to every new version one thing should really be changed: The way the installer upgrades.
Installer doesn't use startmenu-location defined on 1st install or let me choose it like on 1st install (I have to move the entries to a sub each time to keep my structured startmenu used also with foldercontents).
All toolbar-buttons are installed again - it's okay for the 3 main toolbars (esp. if there're changes), but not the additional ones (which I delete everytime).
Same as 2. with iconsets.
I think similar was discussed before but didn't found the original topic to continue/asking again. Sorry for that.

What now, does it change your setting the way described in my 1st post or only place an icon to desktop (which I also delete each time)???

As far as I've discovered, the only issue for me is the desktop icon.
The installer will put back a couple of default toolbars if you had deleted them. You'd only notice this if you spent time looking at your toolbar list, though. It won't affect actually using the program, which is probably why you haven't noticed it.
Is this really a problem? It's useful to people who want to get those toolbars back, and I don't see it causing any issues to people who don't care about those toolbars, since they'll be turned off anyway.
You could make a button or even a startup script which deletes them automatically if seeing them in the list after an update annoys you.
Maybe it seems to be a bit too perfectionistic, but I don't like example and unnecessary files (toolbars) in my settings, also I have a better overview then. Same with an unsorted startmenu (all entries are grouped) or a clean desktop (DO is my "desktop" ).
It's like Windows would copy its deleted example pictures, videos and music files again with each update.
