How to automatically assign a label in the label column after validation a condition?

I like to automatically assign labels in the label column after the file has been validated from a certain condition.
I.E. filename: Beatles - Help!.mp3
The label column now automatically displays "Beatles"

Is this possible only with a script? Please can you tell me how I can achieve this?

No, a Label Assignment will suffice:

You could have a script column which displays the first word of each filename, if that's what you need.

Thanks for your reply. However I cannot manage to get the labelname in this case "Beatles" displayed in the label column! Nothing happens if I apply the filter.
