I want to change how DO formats the Modified/Created/Accessed timestamps on files. I don't like how it handles files less than a week old (putting the day of the week only). I don't mind the "today" display so much, but if it had to go to fix the day of week display I'd be fine with that.
Is it possible to change it so that file timestamps are always displayed "MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM" in the details view? Even better would be a hybrid that showed "[dayofweek] MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM"
Besides the general F1 (Help) system... do try out the search/filter field built directly into the Preferences interface. The screen I posted shows that I typed "date" into the field and hit enter - which filters the prefs pages being displayed to those that are relevant - and automatically adds the red selection box to highlight the specific related options/setting.
Of course, it only helps if you search on the "right" keyword ... but it's great for finding stuff and making spot changes to see how they behave as opposed to just reading about them in the F! (Help) system.
Don't forget to save backups of your Opus configuration as you learn more about it and try different settings out though (link in my signature talks about it).
