Goal is to have a consistent set of fields automatically populating each folder as the default.
I see the Preferences listing :Folders/Folder Formats" and the "Default Format" icon. It opens to a list allowing one to select folder fields. And there is a "User Default" which can also be chosen under "Favorite Formats," suggesting one can expect this arrangement to be the default arrangement.
BUT these selected fields do not seem to stick. That is, the selected fields for the "Default Format" and the "Favorite Formats" selected fields do not populate folders, old or new. Yes, tried closing and reopening Opus.
No joy.
Please advise.
