I am working on a file share migration and am looking at over 30,000 files. Is there a script or code for a button that will allow me to search by the number of characters in a file name..
Example:
Find all the files with 10 characters in file name.
Search results would show up in a search window..
let me know if anyone can help..

Could you use this to do it?
If it was me I'd probably output all the paths and names to a CSV using the Print Folder tool in Opus, then load that into Excel and have it filter based on the name lenghts.
Seems like a few people have wanted to search based on filename/filepath length now so it might be worth sending a feature request to GPSoftware.
