This amazing piece of software has a plethora of settings that can easily make a new user get lost.
I'd like to know how I can hide the folder tree completely (like in this video) and then show it back when I need it.
You can turn the tree on and off via the Lister menu in the default toolbars. (Screenshot of the menu here: Status Bars - dual mode, or single window mode )
(Closing it can also be done via the X button, unless you've hidden the tree's header. There's also a hotkey to toggle it which you can find in the same menu, or the Customize > Keys window.)
