Some time ago I moved the viewer panel from the right side to the bottom of the UI. However, I have forgotten how I did this and would like to move it back to the left side. How can I do this?

Click the = or || button in the viewer pane's header, next to the close button for it.
Depending on configuration, you may also want to update the default lister (Settings > Set as Default Lister) afterwards.
