How to reset everything to the default? (of version 10.0.0)

hello i updated the previous version (9.5.6) installing on top of this the new 10 version. now i have
toolbars for version 8/9/10 and some personal setting. i would want to reset everything to the new
10.0 defaults, there is a way to do that, can you point me in the right directions? (regKeys to delete,
folders to remove, etc)

thanks in advance, Paolo

The quickest way would be a new clean install. Or you check first to reset the toolbars (right click in toolbar empty space -> toolbars -> reset to standard), maybe
that´s enough?

hello, i would want to reset everything, the toolbars was just an example. a clean installation may use shared (and old) settings.
i will try to uninstall, remove folders and registry keys, anyway thanks for your answer, Paolo

are they any significant changes to the gui controls othe than than the GROUP BY and the removal of the FIND and the OUTPUT window ?

I merely modified my old config .

When you uninstall it deletes all existing config, so uninstall + reinstall (i.e. a clean install) won't be using any shared/old settings.

Don't worry about the registry, either; there aren't any settings stored there by Opus 9 or 10. Everything is in files under /dopusdata, /dopuslocaldata and /dopusglobaldata. (See the FAQs for more info on the different config directories.)

Yes, the default toolbars have many new commands and some of the context menus have improvements as well. I'd recommend at least looking through what's in them to see if you want to copy it to your own configuration.

Some of the default Preferences have also changed. From memory, the default colors & fonts have changed as have the default viewer/viewer-pane settings, and a few other things. Up to you whether you reset those or not. You can reset individual Preferences sections without resetting the whole lot, if you choose.
