How to save a specific layout to a tab (style)?

Up front: I am sorry, probably this has been outlined in depth somewhere or discussed before. Over the last hour I have vainly been trying to sort this out myself, but ended up on the slippery road of just trying whilst not knowing what I am actually doing.

In a specific folder with images I click on the image tab (Styles > Images)
Then I resize tree and lock it, same goes for the middle window pane, also as small as possible and locked, then in the right window pane - maximum free space and sort ascending.

This is quite regular view/layout and each time I am doing the same things.

IF at all possible.., how to save this format/layout as a new tab?
So, when clicking on that tab Opus to open that specific folder with window panes as described.

Thanks.

If you right-click the style name, there should be a menu which lets you save over it with the current setup.

Thank you. What I meant is that I would like this style/layout be firmly saved, i.e. when changing styles, e.g. to Explorer, and going back, then this layout to show up again with tree locked, middle pan locked, etc. I saved it to a new tab (style) but the layout is lost after changing back and forth between styles.

I tried with ENabling Format Lock in Edit Lister Style, but that won't work.

Then again, maybe it simply isn't possible.

Edit the style in Preferences and make sure the things you want it to change are turned on.

Sorry, not sure how to proceed on this.

What do you want the style to do that it isn’t doing?

Seems I managed to solve like this.
Always jump to the right folder
Split in 3 window panels
Left, middle, details view
Right thumbnail
