How to search for multiple files?

I always used the search funktion to find my Movie files .
I had to reinstall and forget the right action.

It normally looks like .avi;.mpg;*.mov ....................etc

i just can't remember it looked like in diropus like this :
*.avi|mpg|mov

but it won't work i think i just miss one little letter ??

Try this instead... *.(avi|mpg|mov)
