Idea: Content type based buttons/button-groups

What you think about content type based buttons or button-groups which toggles depending on content type (same way and in addition to the new automatic toolbars)?

Example for a button-group:

GRP1: Toogles on when lister shows pictures (GRP2 is off then)
GRP2: Toogles on when lister shows audiofiles (GRP1 is off then)

Or - instead of using groups and what I would prefer - an option to custome each button that way. Example:

The button is normally placed in a toolbar and will be shown if choosen content-type is activated in lister. Maybe this could be solved within the command itself (instead of a pulldown) to give more options like e.g. thumbmode as condition.

Actually, toolbar is a button group.
I haven't tested DO11 yet, but if content-specific toolbars can be displayed next to another toolbar (see attached picture), this is what you want. I hope I understood what you meant.

Sure a kind of "group", but you can save the position for automated toolbars only for top, left, right and bottom. And as mentioned I would prefer configuring each button that way (like the picture-slider or picture-size-buttons, which automatically toggle and which are toolbar-independent).
