Ignore filesystem folders that are only transited

If the following setting is checked in preferences..

..what constitutes do something in it per the description in the Help file? Going to a folder and selecting a file within it does not add the folder to the recent list. To me, that is "doing something in it". Even if I rename the file the parent folder is not added to the list.

If you run a command on something in the folder it should count, including double-clicking files.

Double click has no effect on my system (W7, Opus 11.16.1). I also tried with a vanilla configuration in case there is something in my custom config. Same result. Double click has no effect on the recent list.

What are you looking at to check the recent list?

Folders are added correctly to the list if the Ignore filesystem folders that are only transited option is unchecked in preferences.

Further testing with a vanilla config demonstrates that if I enter a folder XXX and double click an item, XXX is not immediately added to the recent list. However, at some point later when I navigate away from folder XXX to folder YYY then XXX is added to the recent list so the logic appears to be "do something and then go somewhere else".
