[] in network filename

I have a network path like that:

  \\server\folder\[folder]\folder

DOpus can jump into the path, no problems BUT the tree view won't be updated! No problems when i use a path without []. If i use [] in a local path it's not a problem.

Is there any solution for this?

It works okay here so my guess is the network server is treating names with [ ] around them specially, and indicating that they are 'hidden' or similar.

Does the folder show up in the tree at all?

Is the tree configured to show hidden files?

The folder is visible in the tree - i can navigate perfectly in the view on the right, join subfolder etc but the treeview isn't just updated. It works fine with the standard windows explorer.

When you say the treeview isn't updated, what do you mean exactly?

Normally the tree would unfold/fold the subfolders you are joining/leaving. This is not happen.

I'm not seeing that, FWIW.

Best thing to do is wait until the next version is out as there are a lot of changes/improvements in this area anyway and it's likely to have solved the problem.

OK, thank you for the quick reply. Any release date for the new version?

The same as Duke Nukem Forever (that is- 'when it's done', not 10th June 2011).
