I would like to be able to custimize the new metadata pane, like you can with the tooltips for filetypes. Based on the filetype; add a thumbnail, change the order and what tags are displayed or change what tags are expanded or collapsed when the file is first selected. That sort of thing.
Can this be done?
Not currently; just the colours and font at the moment.

I'm not sure if it has been requested or not. It never hurts to send a quick request so it's known more people want something.
