Is it possible to save file find/search results?

Hi,

Is it possible to save file find/search results for future use?

Thanks,

Steve.

Yes, just parent up and rename the Find Results collection to something else so it isn't overwritten the next time you do a search.

Hmm, still waiting desperately for a DYNAMIC "saved search function" after all those years (a.k.a "Dynamic File Collection" in Dopus, "Virtual Folder" in Vista, "Search Folder" in Thunderbird", or as *.fnd" file already in Windows 95).

Thanks heaps already for serious consideration of this long-missed feature,

What's that got to do with this thread?

(Or this forum, for that matter. If you want to submit or re-iterate a feature request, rather than discuss it with other users, then you should write to GPSoftware.)

I think you means saving a list of searched results in a text file :unamused:
If I'm right, you can use print or Print Folder for this aim.

No, of course I mean exactly the opposite of you proposing the most static of all searches: The best file manager in the world finally needs a

DYNAMIC FILE COLLECTION...!
