I have the jobs bar always enabled, because I don't like the lister layout moving around and I use a single lister in day to day usage, I guess that's why I never noticed the following:
As mentioned, I was sorting a lot of photos and opened two listers to start a move/convert job here and to be able to prepare and run another move/convert job in the other lister. After a while I realized, that both listers show all the jobs in progress, regardless of what lister it was launched from and since the move/convert operation dialog does not give a clue about what paths are involved (the dialog is very basic, not the regular copy/move dialog), it seemed to me I don't get any advantage from using two listers, I was not able to distinguish between an operation I trigged in lister#1 or lister#2 or which one finished first.
I was using two listers for another reason, I move/convert photos with a button, which selects jpgs first (from all the files I selected), then moves/converts other files from the initial selection (raws/movies etc.).
I cannot switch tabs in a single lister while this button is doing its job as it messes up the progress/reselection etc..
tl;dr;
Is there a way to have the jobs bar display only the jobs triggered from the lister it resides in?
