JPG204 extension on conversion from cr2

Why do some images convert to extension JPG204 and some to JPG when using the conversion tool?

I used the conversion tool to convert 7 images from canon raw cr2 to jpg. used the default choices of jpeg and 100 quality, rotate and resize were left unchecked. clicked on All.
5 of the images ended up with a jpg extension and 2 have a jpg204 extension. it doesnt seem to be related to size - the two jpg204 files are the smallest and the 3rd largest. some images were portrait and some landscape - the two 204 were one landscape and one portrait, so orientation/rotation doesnt seem to be involved. i googled on jpg204 and searched dopus help and couldnt find any information.
when i repeated this task, all 7 images became jpg not jpg204.

Thanks, R. Channon

Which version are you using? Please see if it still happens with 10.0.1.3 (link in my sig), if you're not already using that version.

im using 10.0.1.4185.x86

You've missed part of the version number there.

oops - 10.0.1.0.4185.x86

Please see if it still happens with 10.0.1.3 (link in my sig).

If it does still happen, could you provide a sample cr2 file which triggers the problem?

when i asked dopus to check for upgrades it said your installed version is directory opus 10.0.1.0.4185 your version is current.

10.0.1.3 is a Beta version whereas 10.0.1.0 is a Stable version. The next stable version will be 10.0.2.0.

A link to 10.0.1.3 is in my signature. (That's why I keep saying "link in my sig". Apologies if the "sig" abbreviation wasn't clear.)
