Directory Opus 8 is actually the best file manager for Windows but I think it should correctly support NTFS junction points.
Actually, operations on files inside a junction point doesn't refresh UI due to a notification problem.
Is there a workaround or a patch to solve this, or if not, when do you think to eliminate this annoyance?

AFAIK there isn't a workaround at the moment. Opus currently won't detect the change made because junctions confuse the notification system. (Opus sees the changes being made to the actual path and doesn't realise that the junction path is the same thing.)
If you want to encourage GPSoft to improve NTFS junction support you could drop them a quick message via their online support form. Not sure what your chances are but it doesn't hurt to ask.
