"Label Assignments" and "Properties SETLABEL"

I assigned some icons for several "File Type Groups" with label filters in "Label Assignments".
if I set another label to them with command Properties SETLABEL, how could I keep the previous icon? sometimes I just want to change the color or define a status icon for selected files and folders.

Turn on Preferences / Favorites and Recent / Labels / Apply wildcard and label filters to explicitly labelled files and folders. That may be all you need.
