The default and saved listers are set as single view showing folder list; however, when DO opens the view is folder Details.
When I click the single tab, the lister changes from folder details to folder list. I have repeatedly checked the style settings and saved the folder list window as default, but DO continues to open showing folder details.
What settings control the opening file list view?
A second configuration I can not accomplish is when I click on Dual Vertical, I want the right window to be active, not the left window. I can not discover which preference setting dictates the active window when changing from single to dual.
Thanks for any help.

Question 2: I'm not sure if Styles can change which folder has the focus. You can do it when turning on dual display via the toolbar/menu/hotkey/etc., though. (Turn on Settings -> Preferences -> Listers -> File Display: Set new window to source when switching to dual file display.)
Thank you for the FAQ reference.
I tried many of the settings set forth, but the DO Saved and Default Listers continued to open showing folder Details rather than List.
To prevent OD to open the default/saved listers as DETAIL, I found what seemed to be the change that must be made: Preferences, Launching Opus, From the Desktop
click: Open a Saved Lister Layout
select "the folder of choice"
NOTICE in Preferences, Listers, Styles that Folder can be checked or not for the configuration to load as intended.
You probably needed to turn on "Ignore folder format of Default Lister." There's a section near the top of the FAQ (also repeated later on) about that and the startup options.
