Lister open to wrong display

I have my laptop with an external display attached.
When I dblclick the desktop on my external display, it opens the default lister on that display.
When I dblclick the desktop on my laptop display, it opens the default lister on the external display. Shouldn't it open on the laptop display?

I'm not sure how it got set this way. I believe it used to work just fine. Whichever display I did the dblclick on, that's where it would open.

Do you know what setting might control this?

Check the settings for the default Lister in Preferences / Layouts and Styles / Default Lister.

Probably you need to turn on the In a fixed position relative to the monitor the mouse is on option.

I just now saw the "Always over the mouse pointer".
That fixed it. :slight_smile:
