can i create lister different layouts that will remember the toolbars and the positions used?
in one example i want to have a very minimal lister alongside my usual full blown layout.
Not at the moment. Toolbars aren't saved as part of layouts or styles.
You can toggle "local" toolbars for particular windows using commands (e.g. hotkeys or buttons in menus or on other toolbars) which lets you temporarily add extra toolbars for individual windows. You can't, however, turn off one of the global toolbars without turning it off for all windows, which you probably don't want.
