ExifTool will reveal the proper extension via

```plaintext
Set COLUMNSTOGGLE="scp:ExifTool/File-FileTypeExtension(!,a,0)"
```

(requires [ExifTool Custom Columns](https://resource.dopus.com/t/exiftool-custom-columns/38975)).

Or have it change the extension directly:

```plaintext
exiftool.exe "-filename<%f.${FileTypeExtension}" -@ {allfilepath|filem}
```
