Open a directory of 5000 video files in the latest Directory Opus and XYplorer release. Enable options to automatically generate all thumbnails. On the same system, Directory Opus fails to generate all thumbnails, XYplorer doesn't. Directory Opus 'gets stuck' (thread timeout issue).
What kind of files are involved? How many are there?
Doesn't appear you read my last message in its entirety. 5000 video files (i.e. H264 codec). Doesn't break in XYplorer using "Create all thumbnails at once" option. Not a codec issue. Maximum cache size is 10GB, "Start loading thumbnails before they become visible" is enabled. BTW, that preference is poorly named - "start loading" doesn't confer that all thumbnails will be created v.s. "load all".
I leave XYplorer and Opus to run for a full night, and XYplorer completes, Opus gives up early (maybe a few pages of thumbnails loaded). Threads getting stuck.
If threads are stuck, make a process dump and send it to us so we can investigate.
