Location bar in docked toolbar

Hi - I have a toolbar with a location control docked to the top of the screen. When I select a recent entry from the drop down list it opens a lister in that location. However, when I type in an address it is unresponsive.

The location bar inside the main lister works as expected. Is there something I'm missing here?

It does that here too and I cannot tell you why. If no one else comes up with a good explanation you may want to run this by tech support.

I see it too.
The recent list isn't updated either.

Note also that if you double-click the text field Directory Opus crashes.
This happens with a location bar inside the main lister as well.

Regards,
Zippo

Sounds like you need to use your beta tester certificate and actually send a report... :stuck_out_tongue:

@Tanis
I'm waiting to complete my Vista Machine.
The ( real ) money is almost there now, but it's tough to order some things now due to driver worries.
The wiring job will be quite good though.
I have lots of Flexo PET sleeving ,
KK series pins and connectors ( mainboard and fan ),
the proper crimping tools ...

When completed, hopefully by early March,
I'll start annoying Jon with Win98 - Vista problems.

I deny any knowledge of any such thing as a 'beta tester certificate' .
I think you're imagining things Tanis.
Sipping some Yellow Tail wine or something ?

Regards,
Zippo

Thanks for the input guys. If an answer doesn't surface in the next day or so then I'll email tech support.

Its handy to have that bar on the top of the screen constantly. I have a couple buttons for folders that I use. But I don't want to over populate the list.

According to my list you are a beta tester with access to the beta tester forums, and I would assume, your certificate has been updated as a tester. I thought you were the official Win98 tester?
