I seem to have lost the use of ctrl+a, ctrl+c and Ctrl+v in Dopus. They are functioning in other software including Explorer (strange to see that again!).
I haven't changed any Dopus preferences in ages. Any thoughts?

Do you still have commands for them in the Edit menu?
I didn't have but I restored them. 'Select All' works from the menu but ctrl+a still doesn't.
I note that 'Undo' in the Edit menu has the standard keyboard shortcut 'Ctrl+z' noted after it but 'Cut', 'Copy' and 'Select All', though restored to their rightful place do not.
Is this a clue?
If you edit the menu items, you'll probably find they don't have hotkeys.
Note the hotkey field. This is what Select All looks like on the default toolbar:

Almost certainly, yes. I don't have any idea how you got in this state, but you should be able to restore the shortcut keys to the menu items.
Settings -> Customize Toolbars.
Then click the Edit menu.
Double click, for example, Cut in the menu.
Use the resulting Command Editor - Directory Opus to assign the Ctrl + C Hotkey.
It wasn't my fault, it was a fault in Dopus. It just happened.....
Yes, on editing the hotkey and label fields, all is back to normal. I use the keyboard a lot for Dopus manipulation and saw no purpose in having certain actions duplicated on the menu. Now I know better!
Thanks for your help - it is appreciated.
You can create keyboard-only commands if that's what you want, through Settings / Customize / Keys.
Is there anything you can't do? Thanks Jon.
