Low resolution in viewer (running quick view plus)

I am running Windows 7 (64 bit) as a virtual machine on a macbook pro, via vmware fusion 4. I use Directory opus as my file manager in the windows 7 VM. I have installed the trial version of quick view plus in order to see the previews in the viewer (there were no previews in the dopus viewer intil QVP was installed). However, the resolution of the previews (for any type of file, it seems) is poor, to the point where it is almost hard to read text or make out images. When I used dopus on a PC with windows 7 (64 bit) (no QVP), there was good resolution in the viewer of all file types. How can I increase the resolution so that I can easily read and view content in the viewer, without having to increase zoom (I use the setting "fit to width" so that the content fills the viewer window as I resize it, and I prefer not to have to use zoom as this is another step that slows me down). Thanks in advance for help.

Opus has no control how QuickViewPlus displays files. All we do is tell QVP which file to display and which window to display it in, and the rest is up to it.

Your best bet is to look in QVP's options and, if you can't find anything, contact the QVP developers to ask if there is a way to improve the resolution or the default zoom level.

Presumably a different viewer is handling things on your other PC (without QVP) for whichever document format(s) we're talking about.

thanks Leo, for your prompt assistance. I will proceed as you advise, and update this string with any positive findings
