Yesterday my FTP stopped working in Dopus. 9.1.0.6
If I boot and use WS-FTP or Dreamweaver etc before I open Dopus I can connect fine. BUT if I open Dopus and try to connect, not only does it not connect to any site in Dopus but thereafter no other software will connect either until I reboot.
Any ideas?

Did Windows update itself for you too?
It did here. Haven't tried FTP, but stranger things have been known to happen after Microsoft weaves its monthly magic.
I am using XPSP2. Updates are set to auto so I am not sure if this is related - its driving me mad!

Sounds like a firewall or port mapping issue to me.
Are you using a software firewall? If so check its logs.
Also check the Opus FTP log via Tools -> Output Window to see if there's any useful information in there.
I am using Windows firewall. Is there a place to check the logs?
In Dopus the FTP log gives the following:
Opening Connection ftp.bsbit.co.uk:21
Connection closed

Does basic command-line FTP work to the same site?
From a command prompt:
ftp.exe ftp.bsbit.co.uk
Have you tried setting the site bookmark in Opus to use PASV mode (or to not use it, if it's using it at the moment)?
