Make one script choose either of two external app paths

@set folder={dlgstringS|file name...|{file$|noext}_modified}.pdf
@set pages={dlgstringS|Pages to keep...   Example: 1 6-8 2-3 10-end}
"C:\Users\dwilbank\Dropbox\__david\apps_installed\PDFtk Server\bin\pdftk.exe" {file$} cat {$pages} output {$folder} dont_ask

I want one button to work on my 2 different computers, so...

Is there a way (without writing an external script) to make this script work if pdftk.exe happens to be sitting in one other location?

You can use the @ifexists modifier for that, e.g.

@set folder={dlgstringS|file name...|{file$|noext}_modified}.pdf
@set pages={dlgstringS|Pages to keep...   Example: 1 6-8 2-3 10-end}
@ifexists:C:\Users\dwilbank\Dropbox\__david\apps_installed\PDFtk Server
"C:\Users\dwilbank\Dropbox\__david\apps_installed\PDFtk Server\bin\pdftk.exe" {file$} cat {$pages} output {$folder} dont_ask
@ifexists:else
"C:\Other\Path\To\PDFtx Server\bin\pdftk.exe" {file$} cat {$pages} output {$folder} dont_ask

@ifexists looks like a lifesaver

thanks sir

I might also add that just calling all available paths without the @ifexists works too - the unavailable path just fails silently
