Can I map a network drive using the ip address?

But yes, you can. The syntax is \127.0.0.1\sharename

Thanks. I will give that a try. I am dealing with this because I am traveling and the net access at Marriott Residence Inn is a weird variety that won't let me connect as I would at home.
