Merge Listers

Is it possible to merge multiple listers and have them appear as tabs within a single lister?

Hi nate_dawg,

The easy answer to this is to drag and drop the tabs from one lister to another.
Grab the folder icon and release it on the tabs GUI of the other lister.

If you're not in a dual lister display, you can additionally drag one lister over another lister to form a dual display.

I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but that's really it.

not to worry, none taken.

What I'm envisioning is... I have mutiple Listers open with a variety of tabs. I would like to RC somewhere (or create a button) that merges all tabs across all listers into a single lister. For instance, in Firefox I can merge mutiple sessions together so that all of the tabs appear in a single session. I was hoping for a custom button that I could create that would be similar.

If I had to individually drag each tab down to the taskbar and then up into the lister... it would take quite awhile. This would be useful since I tend to have multiple listers spawn off as I open up .zip files, launch folders from other applications, etc. In fact, I'd like to force a "single lister mode" at times.

Thanks.

I don't think this can be done at the moment.

Would you still want it if a future version had a "single lister mode"? Enough people have requested such a mode that I'd be surprised not to see it in the future.

If you think merging all listers to tabs would still be useful then drop GPSoft a feature request.

You can do it by save those tabs in "Group" menu by right-click at one of any tab, and name it. And then by clicking one name you saved under Group menu in another list, they'll merge together and you can click "split to Dual display" and every tabs at right side of your operated tab, will be group-splitted-out to right side window. That's maybe the only way I discovered.

Collapses the tabs of all listers to the active lister and closes all, including duplicate tabs, but the active lister

Close Alllisters=collapse,unique
