I realize this may be difficult to diagnose, but I thought it might be worth reporting.

When editing a PDF metadata property (e.g., the title) via the Set Metadata dialog or the Metadata pane by typing the Arabic character `ة` [U+0629](https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+0629) followed by:

- A space:
  1. The title value is converted into this character `؀` [U+0600](https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+0600).
  2. The values of other properties stop appearing in the Set Metadata dialog and the Metadata pane (Authors, Creator, etc.).

- Non-space characters:
1. The title value is converted into different characters depending on the character that follows `ة`.
2. The values of other properties continue to be displayed.

I've not encountered this with any other character than the [U+0629](https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+0629).
