Right click does "order by"
Middl click could "group by"

read about alt+click and buttons
I use buttons but i can' create buttons for every columns,since i don't use the same columns for all folder
It also means that i should have a toolbar that contains all those buttons.
Click on header is simple and fast
I don't think it's more complicated to do compared to the double click (left and middle) on the background
You can already quickly group by a column by holding alt and clicking the column header.
No need for any extra toolbar buttons or anything like that.
you can read that i read i can alt+click but you have to understand mouse is different from keyboard.
it's nice to be able to do more things possible with just the mouse. that's why we got mice with many programmable buttons and i suppose that you added the command "click on background" to give something extra
There are many things we do with mouse that we could do with keyboard. this is not a good reason to not be able to do it with mouse too.
i prefer to use right click-->group rather than using keyboard
but it would be much better if we could use the middle click
