I've begun recently to use file collections and I've realised that they don't show the corresponding icon in the folder tree or the lister. On clicking them in the folder tree a generic icon appears (saquare window with blue titlebar). I've checked and modified their properties, where the folder and butterfly icon is shown, and filetypes (same icon), to no avail (picture attached). After upgrade to 9.1.0.5 things remain the same. I've run out of ideas and haven't found anything about this in the forum.
Any hint? (hope I'm not missing something obvious)
Ihad already tried that by deleting ShellIconCache; rebuilding icons with TweakUI didn't fix the problem, either. Same with uninstall and reinstall DOpus.
As additional information, in the registry I've got an entry "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\coll\DefaultIcon@ : C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopus.exe,-187", which points to a group of icons (folder+butterfly). What have you got there?
I've exported my DOpus configuration to a usb stick and when I run it on other computers (Vista and XP) I can see the collection icons and change them "on the fly". If I run Dopus from the stick on my desktop computer (Win2k) I get no collection icons whatsoever. Same thing on another Win2K machine. Seems to be something Win2k specific. Could some other Win2k users report, please?
