Moving DOPUS USB License

Hi,

I purchase usb license on DOPUS v13 because I'm using this app on company laptop and they don't allow the installation. Last week, IT installed a software which block USB write access. I can still access the USB but can't copy anything to it.

I'd like to move the USB license to C:\ drive to be able to still use it as portable. Is it possible? When DOPUS is running, the backup and restore menu seems disabled. Please help!

Thanks in advanced!

Robbie

When you export to a USB stick there’s a “use as a dongle” option which lets you copy the exported directory to anywhere and run it as long as the USB stick is plugged in.

The export has to be done from you normal installed copy at home.

I was expecting to be able to move the license from usb stick to the C: drive, so I don't need to keep the usb stick plugged in all the time. But if it's not possible, it is what it is.

Just FYI. After I copied the exported directory to C: drive, I will need to run the original files on the USB drive at least once for every time the laptop rebooted. Then I can run the DOPUS on C: drive. If it's not done, the license warning will appear and can't run DOPUS.

Robby

The second time you run it, it's already running and just sends a message to the existing instance to tell it to open a window.

If you use the option I mentioned, you can run it from the C:\ drive.
